Attendee’s Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately, due to the current COVID pandemic resulting in CDC guidelines imposing travel restrictions and precluding the gathering of large groups, it is no longer possible to host the 2020 SPS Annual Conference or Sedation Provider Course this May. Following this announcement , we are providing important details for people who have already registered.
Will the Annual Conference be rescheduled?
Meetings of this size are planned years in advance and require extensive logistical planning. This includes careful coordination with hotels large enough to accommodate meeting space and guest room needs. Given the scale of our meeting requirements, the Education Committee and Board of Directors are reviewing all options at this time.
Will my registration be refunded?
Yes, your registration fee will be automatically refunded in full. Staff members will be working as quickly as possible, but to ensure complete accuracy the refund process for this large number of registrants may take up to 45 days to appear on your credit card statement. If you paid by check, your refund will be issued to you by check. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.
What about my hotel reservation?
Please contact the Sheraton Inner Harbor directly at (410) 962-8300 to cancel your reservations.
Will registrants/speakers be refunded for airline tickets?
The Society for Pediatric Sedation will not refund individual airline costs. Please contact your airline directly to ask about cancellation options.
I was planning to attend the SPS Sedation Provider Course, now what?
There are no plans to reschedule the Sedation Provider Course that was planned for Baltimore. We encourage you to take advantage of the SPS Sedation Provider Course online module-based education in lieu of the full course.
